Halloween in the Classroom {soon enough!}

The weather here has been so warm and sunny that the usual fall vibes I'm feeling at this time of year didn't show up until this afternoon. Despite the warm temps, the neighborhood began filling up with decorations, pumpkins and mums, and my kids have been chattering about costumes and trick-or-treating. Since I've been too exhausted to post in a while, I decided to get my motivation up and catch the spirit by creating a little Halloween Freebie .

If you know me, you know I love a good No Homework Pass. I especially enjoy the type that tricks my students into doing other things I want them to. Like clean their desks. These witch legs are so spiffy, and I just couldn't hide the Boston in me:

While I was at it, I updated a product from last fall:
My font  and clipart library has grown, as has my skill with creating printables, so I just spruced it up a bit. If you're looking for some holiday-related writing prompts this Halloween, there are three in this resource: two expository and one narrative (fictional). Click on the image above to purchase.

I'll be back this week with a post about a great product from Smilemakers that I need more of, and some classroom updates. Happy October, everyone!
