Freebie Friday: Sock Monkey Love

My son got a sock monkey hat for Christmas from his favorite cousins, and he has worn it every (freezing) day since.  We ended up ordering 2 more, because a) his brother wanted one, and b) we're afraid that if he loses it, he will be heartbroken.  I also sort of love sock monkeys. I know--weird but true.  I have one in my classroom, and every so often I notice it and it reminds me not to take everything so seriously all the time.  This only works sometimes, but I'll take it.


When I saw this Sock Monkey clipart from Clementine Digitals, I had to buy it.  I had no idea what I would use it for, but I knew I would eventually. Tonight it's capital F freezing here, so I bundled up, put on my son's hat, and snuggled up under a quilt to watch my Real Housewives (don't judge).  I had my laptop handy and started playing around, and I remembered that sock monkey clip art:

I just learned how to put together a little preview for you!  Just click on the picture above to take a look and download if you like. I suggest printing on card stock for durability, then cutting out the circles and using some sort of ribbon that makes you happy to hang it from.  I'm going to use it in my house, so I probably won't laminate it, but I would for sure if you're using it in your classroom.  Oh, and I have to give a shout out to Megan over at I Teach, What's Your Superpower for the pretty blue digital paper background I used.  This is from a holiday freebie paper pack that she made, and she also has lots of great papers and frames in her TPT shop.
