This week, I'm sharing a simple but fun puzzle. I've always loved a good old Sudoku or Magic Square, so here's a holiday-themed one for you. Add it to your math centers or use it as an early finisher activity--up to you. I have a 3rd grader and a 5th grader at home, and they both loved it:
Click on the picture above to get to the Google Doc, which also has the solution. Happy Saturday!
PS! If you are as big a coffee addict as I am, head on over to Finding Joy in Sixth Grade and enter her giveaway. Personally, the Starbucks card is my dream, but there's also a Target Gift Card and some other lovelies! Click on the button below to go there:

Love this! Thanks, Heather. :)

Hi Heather:
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for publicizing my giveaway! (That was so sweet!)
I loved your magic square activity--and I can't wait to use it in my classroom this week. Thanks SO MUCH for sharing.
Finally, if you're interested, come over to Farley's blog, Oh Boy Forth Grade, to see about the Sandy Hook tribute tomorrow...
